When it Comes to Hiring a Personal Fitness Coach, XLR8 Gives You Total Flexibility and Lots of Choices.
We believe everyone should have access to a personal coach or Personal Trainer, even if it’s only once per month. At any of our XLR8 Athletix facilities you have the option to train one-on-one with a personal coach for 30-min or 60-min sessions. You can choose to train alone, with a partner or in a small group setting. We want your fitness journey to be successful and manageable, so we will work with you and your schedule to keep you focused and on track.
Start by asking yourself “How much time do I want to invest in my health and fitness? What types of programs do I enjoy best?” From there we will create a plan designed specifically for you to be successful.
Types of Personal Training offered at XLR8 locations:
Private One-On-One Training
Working out one-on-one with your coach ensures that you receive individualized attention to help you master your movements and technique, as well as allow your coach to closely monitor and help you advance your program. This is especially important if you haven’t worked out or been physically active in a while, or have special needs.
Many of our clients work out with a coach 2-3 times per week. Some clients meet with their coach for an initial assessment in order to have a program custom designed to help them accomplish their goals, and then follow up every couple weeks or once a month to monitor their progress and update their program to ensure they don’t get stuck in a rut or plateau at a specific weight.
If you prefer to workout with a friend or significant other, then partner training may be the ticket for you! Working with a partner can help you stay committed as he or she may hold you more accountable more than you hold yourself. Aside from being more FUN and cost effective, many of our clients LOVE this method of training because they get to encourage each other and witness each other’s progress.
Private Group Training
If your group of athletes requires training for a specific type of event, we can provide the facility and the coach. We have helped many metro Detroit groups condition and train for events like:
